According to the monthly preliminary report of Over-The-Counter (OTC) Forex (FX) traders announced on April 14, trading value by forty nine OTC FX member traders in this March was 1,184 trillion 34.1 billion yen (32.1 percent up than the previous month, 32.5 percent up year-on-year). Trading value of total short position at the end of this March was 3 trillion 986.6 billion yen, it of total long position at the same time was 4 trillion 226.8 billion yen and 8 trillion 213.5 billion yen (2.8 percent up than the previous month, 0.9 percent up year-on-year) in total.
Of the total, as to USD/JPY, trading value of in this March was 988 trillion 849.9 billion yen (28.5 percent up, 79.5 percent up), it of total short position at the end of this March was 2 trillion 108.2 billion yen, it of total long position at the same time was 2 trillion 510.4 billion yen and 4 trillion 618.6 billion yen (5.0 percent up, 10.5 percent up) in total.
